A Great Stay at Ryley Motor Inn
During my recent business trip, my director selected the Ryley Motor Inn in Wangaratta, and I couldn't be more pleased with the choice. The owners were friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. My room was very clean, well equipped, and surprisingly quiet despite being situated near a busy road. The bed was comfortable, and I loved having a choice of pillows to find my perfect sleeping configuration. After long days of meetings, the comfy chairs in the room provided the perfect spot to unwind. the motel is only a 10-minute walk from the town center, where there are plenty of dining options along the Main Street and the river.
Owner's behavior was unprofessional.

Really great staff, and the dvd collection is good. Great location, too!
The room was small but comfortable. Everything worked. Three things I would love to see changed: 1) Our room had no extraction fan in the toilet. That was a problem for my wife! 2) It wasn't clear how to turn the heater on. It works fine, but we spent the first night shivering because we thought it was broken. 3) The tea selection was a bit mean. It costs nothing more to offer a few different varieties of tea (it's not as though you consume more teas), so I've come to expect that all motels offer several different types.

Not a lot.
The cramped bathroom. It was not easy to drive into unless you knew exactly where the entry was situated.

Great place to stay at the Ryley in Wangaratta!
I was eager to explore the Wangaratta Art Gallery and chose the Ryley primarily for its proximity. It did not disappoint! I was pleasantly surprised by the free WiFi throughout the hotel, which made my planning for the day so much easier. The outdoor pool was also a fantastic feature, providing a refreshing escape after a long day of sightseeing.
Shower water pressure could improve.

I stay at the Ryley Motor Inn as an overnight stop travelling from NSW to Geelong. I find the bed comfortable, and the room has everything needed for an overnight stay. There is a very nice Italian restaurant across the road, which sadly will soon be demolished to make way for a Safeway Petrol station. Apart from that, there is an Indian restaurant and Chinese nearby. It is a close walk to the shops and art gallery.

What a lovely little spot for a city break! The room was super clean with everything I needed, including a comfy bed and a stylish renovated bathroom. I loved how close it was to the main shops and vineyards in the area-perfect for exploring! Plus, having a microwave and patio by the pool was such a treat for a cozy breakfast outside.
The walls are a bit on the thin side, so I could hear some noise from neighboring rooms now and then. the heating took a minute to kick in, but that didn't ruin my stay at all. I’d definitely come back!

Recently renovated country hotel with great value, we had a wonderful stay. Actually, the room was neat and updated in recent times as new-ish bathroom. The staff were obliging and very pleasant, no complaints. In general the service was good.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

Able to accommodate me after it was discovered that the booking confirmation that I held was different to the one held by th eMotel. Some how the booking was reduced to just one room when I had confirmation of two rooms booked.
Not specifically helpfull in trying to resolve my plight of booking mess up. Were able to request another guest to vacate a triple room and take a double room so that my friend and I could have separate beds for the night in lieu of separate rooms.

We stayed for one night while attending a funeral in Albury and were genuinely pleased with our choice. The newly refurbished rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making for a cozy overnight stay. The friendly staff made us feel welcome, and the nice little pool was a refreshing surprise after a long day. The motel's convenient location allowed for a quick stroll to nearby amenities, and breakfast with generous portions of delicious bacon was a real treat.
I recommend this hotel.

I was super frustrated when housekeeping knocked on my door at 9:59 AM on checkout day. I was still packing and felt rushed. A heads-up around 10:10 AM would've been much more considerate. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

It's cheap and it's pretty well located in Wangarrata. Just a short drive from all other towns in the High Country.
The mattress was not in a very good condition, so we didn't sleep well. Besides there were lots of mosquitoes in our room.
